Bridges Mental Health Ombuds
The DRC, under a contract with the Peninsula Regional Support Network, provides mental health ombuds services to consumers of the public mental health system. Family members and those trying to access public mental health, are also eligible for ombuds services. The DRC Ombuds service areas are Kitsap, Clallam, and Jefferson Counties. The Ombuds advocate for consumers and family members and assists them in voicing their concerns about services and quality of care.

Parent Advocacy
Bridges to Parent Voice is a parent and family advocacy program serving families in Kitsap,, Clallam, and Jefferson Counties. Bridges services:
- Clarify and connect families and the staff of agencies that serve children, with a focus on mental health
- Assist families, and support agencies, with communication and mutual problem solving
- Provide support and mentoring
- Provide resource information
- Advocate for family input into systems planning policies, implementation, and evaluation
