Housing Mediation Services

The Dispute Resolution Center of Kitsap County is committed to supporting our vibrant community by providing voluntary mediation and reconciliation services to help resolve housing related issues outside of the court system. 


We welcome homeowners, landlords, tenants, roommates, HOA’s, & neighbors to access our services to resolve their housing conflicts such as,

  • Address lease agreements
  • Neighbor-to-neighbor conflict resolution
  • Supporting LGBTQ+ communities with safety in multi-family housing
  • Rental housing mediation on rent owed or other issues that help tenants maintain their housing and landlords to keep tenants
  • Mobile Home Park Landlord/Tenant Mediation under RCW 59.20.080 (2).

Northwest Justice Project

Kitsap Legal Services offers pre-eviction services and direct representation for ALL low income tenants in eviction proceedings.

Washington Law Help Free legal information and self-help materials that provide information about non-criminal legal problems affecting low-income people in Washington State.

Eviction Defense Hotline: 1-855-657-8387 interpreters available.

CLEAR (Coordinated Legal Education, Advice and Referral) is a toll-free hotline for low-income. 1-888-201-1014 weekdays 9:15 am – 12:15 pm.

American Financial Solutions a non-profit credit counseling and financial education agency offering debt consolidation, pre-bankruptcy and post-bankruptcy counseling and education, foreclosure intervention, and assistance and pre-purchase counseling, and financial education.

Rental Housing Association of Washington (RHAWA) provides lease documents, advocacy and education services. RHAWA offers services to members only.
